6th Grade Corner
Each week I send my team the "6th Grade Corner" on Sunday afternoon. It helps them organize their week and get bite-sized PD. I compile links, inspiring videos, and strategies of the week to model professional learning and expose my teachers to a wealth of resources for high quality instruction.

Professional Development and Coaching
In my role of developing the nearly thirty beginning teachers at Hillside High School, I have developed a number of instructional support resources and professional development offerings. I have collected feedback on these and shared a few of the highlights which were rated highly by teachers. Beginning teachers have rated very highly our walkthrough feedback form, tech tools PD, and the Hillside Instructional Troubleshooting document below. We completed a follow-up discussion on our district-wide Out of the Box that allowed teachers to "show and tell" tools they learned with each other.

Strategic Planning and Scheduling
As part of a course with Dr. Pascal Mubenga, I completed a strategic plan evaluation of Southern High School, which included changes to scheduling and use of staffing to increase instructional effectiveness. Attached below is also a "dream" middle school schedule that I developed during my thinking about our middle school developmental project. The schedule allows for increased flexible time, smaller groupings, and increases literacy time by 45 minutes for all students while protecting at least an hour and a half of planning for all teachers.
